Lynette Hardie

Contemporary Outback Artist from Cloncurry

Art has always been an interest of Lindys (Lynette) since her boarding school days in the sixties.

Lindy’s passion for art saw her attending pottery and art workshops over the years whilst busy raising a family of four with her husband David.

Her creative interests were directed into many other fields; for example, Lynette is also an author of many gardening books. It was suggested that she try painting as therapy for Parkinson’s disease in 2016.

Having sold their property it was 'perfect timing' as Blackall and Tambo have so many amazing art retreats and workshops that Lindy has been fortunate to attend.

Lindy works with several mediums as she loves the effects of delicate watercolours to using the robust oils and vibrant acrylics.
